Vivid Morsels

In early April 2005 I was brought on board to production design a script by Neil McCay, Peter Dowty, and David Groves. The film we're creating is entitled "11", and is about parallels, fate, and the worst movie ever made. Here are my production notes and scenes from behind the scenes. -Alessandra Nicole

08/17: Shelly Dad

This scene we shoot Shelly visiting her father and finding out that he has gambled himself into a fierce six thousand dollar debt.

Director Neil is a bit blurred here, but the house we had for this location was really very nice, and absolutely perfect for Shelly's dad. A very stylish, sophisticated single man's home. We all wanted to move in.

They had galvenized metal bolted to the walls in the kitchen! Very hip.

In the process of transferring a handsome picture of a pier at sunset (foreshadowing again) from the den to the diningroom, Neil killed a resident cactus. :-(

Yeah...I have no idea...

View from the den.

View OF the den.

Nice wood floors, gray walls, Parisian style posters, little persian carpets...sweet accents!

...Yeah, this wasn't a major scene, not much to talk about here...It probably took longer for Neil to get us to the TGIFriday's for drinks afterwards than it took to shoot this particular scene... ;-)
