"Shelly Bad News"

Here are Taylor, Corey, and Evelynne in the screening room where I live. We were passing time waiting for our Director of Photography to show up alongwith our assistant director. We did this by watching our director's last film, a short entitled "The Tiny Little Crevice in the Back of Your Mind".

Taylor made some friends. Corey had named them earlier...I think the tiger was named Guiseppi.

It was a long day and shaping up to be a long night too. We had a last minute location fall through and thus had to scramble for a place suitable to be a specialist's office, where our Shelly learns she's terminally, fatally ill.

I suggested the clubhouse at my posh apartment complex in Sterling, VA. There were several options available, and the one that was decided upon was actually the billiards room.

There were a couple of guys/ who were up to no good/ started makin' trouble in the neighborhood.... A few guys decided to be strangely territorial at midnight on a Monday morning and declared they were not going to give up the billiards room. It was a struggle, and at one point we thought all may be lost, but we won the location in the end, and went on to use the pumped up energy to fuel one of the more intense scenes in the script.
